Erdogan does not want problems with the TAF

The talk show is a continuing marathon of the prime minister. Even though almost every time the same questions are being asked, different answers are given from time to time. One of them drew my attention the most was that what's Recep Tayyip Erdogan said about the military. When I gather them all together, an extremely interesting picture comes out.

You will remember that the Justice and Development Party, or AKP, especially in the 2007 elections and during the referendum, gained significant votes by explaining to the public that it was a victim of the Turkish Armed Forces, or TSK. And in the Ergenekon and the "Sledgehammer" (Sledgehammer) cases, which came right after, even though they were judicial matters, the bill was on the name of the government. Their most tense point reached TSK-Erdogan relations.

Turkish president: I don't have a problem with Israelis

"Jews are praying for me in their synagogues every Saturday, all of them are our citizens," Turkish newspaper quotes Gul as saying.

Turkish President Abdullah Gul has said Turkey does not have a problem with the people of Israel, but rather that the problems with Israel stem from the policies that are employed by its government, according to a report by the Turkish daily Hurriyet published Sunday.

“I have learned that [Turkish] Jews are praying for me in their synagogues every Saturday. All of them are our citizens. Our problem is not with the people of Israel, but with the policies pursued by the government of Israel,” Gül said, in remarks that were published Sunday in another publication, Milliyet.

Milliyet is a major Turkish

Milliyet is a major Turkish daily newspaper founded in 1950. Milliyet came to publishing life at the Nuri Akça press in Babıali, Istanbul as a daily private newspaper on 3 May 1950. Its owner was Ali Naci Karacan. For a number of years the person who made his mark on the paper as the editor in chief was the colossal name of Turkish press, Abdi İpekçi. İpekçi managed to raise the standards of the Turkish press by introducing his journalistic criteria. On February 1, 1979, İpekçi was murdered by Mehmet Ali Ağca, who would later attempt to assassinate the Pope John Paul II. On October

6, 1980, the Karacan family relinquished the paper to Aydın Doğan, the foremost media mogul in Turkey. Since 1994, Milliyet has abandoned its stable journalism established by Abdi İpekçi for an editorial line akin to that of Hürriyet. For example, its Internet edition often incorporates sensational material from The Sun and Daily Mail. There is a tremendous amount of overlap among the daily coverage, such as identical articles and photographs. Milliyet is published by the same media conglomerate, Doğan Medya, which publishes Hürriyet, Radikal and several others. On September 2009, Milliyet opened its digital archive and became the first to do so.
